Bass action has improved. Look for grass beds around points and flats.
Rattle traps, jerk baits, crankbaits and small jigs are working well. Ten to fifteen lb Vicious
fluorocarbon is a key to getting some extra bites.
Crappie action on L.O.E has been up and down for me. The bite is great one day and
disappears the next. Quality has remained pretty good.
I have been trowing 1/8 ounce jigs in 2 - 10 foot of water on 4lb Vicious panfish line.
Work the bait slowly and over the top of the grassy areas.
