My son and I went out with Matt for a full day of Bass fishing on a "challenging" day after a cold new
techniques to coax bass onto the line when the bass are not aggressively feeding. These My son
and I went out with Matt for a full day of Bass fishing on a "challenging" day after a cold techniques
proved very helpful on our very first trip into northern Wisconsin in July. I caught my front passage.
Through Matt's skill, we still caught fish, but more importantly, we learned a lot of limit of keeper
bass on a day when another fisherman using live bait and fishing the same areas came up with
nothing at all! Looking forward to another "lesson" with SnS Guide Service in the fall....

It was going to be a tough day. Bluebird sky, HOT, late summer, little or no wind, but I was fishing
a new, stunning piece of water, Lake of Egypt. We started slowly, hit several spots with no bites.
Matt was on the HUNT. About 10-10:30 we went deeper on some brush piles and up they came
bending our rods. We doubled-up several times for the rest of the day. We moved from area to
area catching fish of different sizes. Matt REALLY knows this lake. We caught 2 1/2 limits of
keepers between 16 1/2
and 21 1/2 inches and from 3lbs to 7lbs. Total weights ran over 20lbs for our larger group and
between 17-18lbs for the smaller. This does not address the many <16" fish we landed, some 18 or
so.
This was a wonderful day. Matt truly loves what he does and it shows in his knowledge, patience,
and desire to show his clients a great adventure. I HAD ONE. Thanks Matt.

Searching the Internet, we found Lake of Egypt and SNS Guide Service. From the original call for
booking the trip, to the excellent directions, recommendation for lodging, and the wonderful fishing
trip. We Even though it is still winter, we were dying to go Crappie fishing. After some research on
the experienced a totally professional, friendly experience. Tyson had his work cut out on finding
the fish, the winds were high and the lake was white capping. The power plant was shut down and
there was a bass tournament with boats everywhere. He was very attentive to our every need,if our
line was hung up - he fixed, if we lost a lure, he put another on. We did not stay in one spot for
CRAPPIE!! (plus the fish were substantially larger than what we are accustomed too!) We would
recommend SNS guide service to anyone - what a great winter fishing experience we had. (Wish
we would have stayed 2 days!!!)

which were among the largest I have ever caught. I only occasionally fish with plastic worms, but
Matt's rigging and technique tips helped me generate plenty of strikes and solid hook-ups. I even
stopped at my local pond on the way home and caught a few more fish with my new techniques!
It was obvious that he had a lot of experience as he led me from one productive

baits but we always caught one to three pounders. We decided we needed some training.
The first thing we said to Matt when we arrived was that, “ we’re going ask you a thousand
questions in the next few days, and we hope you don’t mind”. We wanted to catch fish of
course but what was more important was the learning. He and his staff answered all
questions with patience and enthusiasm. They explained and demonstrated in details that we
could understand not only the how to fish, but why we fish that way. Everything from simple
correct knot tying to jig and worm presentation, feeling the bite and hook set. We caught a
lot of fish in those three days and it was a particular pleasure to watch professionals catch
huge bass and make it look easy. (Which we found out it is not easy at all). Thanks to Matt,
Chad and Richard. We had fun and highly recommend SNS Guide Service. Can’t wait to use
what I’ve learned. We’re going back next year for our quest to catch our first 7-pounder.
